Can someone explain how the Housing/Dole System works in the UK?

The answer about the JSA �53.45 is right, plus it isn't that easy to find a room and get full housing benefit for it because it has to be within the cheapest third of the range of local rent levels, and a lot of landlords won't take people on housing benefit.
