Why are we giving money to China when we owe them money?

Not rational. Charity begins at home. The environmental protection agency should be paying your scientists to do research in this area, then when they discover a new problem solver they could put a patent on it. If you pay China to do all your thinking for you they will eventually take over your country. America's future lies in research and development. If your government had put a patent on the internet your nation would be debt free now. America invents and China, Japan, or India puts a patent on what you invented and makes money out of it.
