Are the abused being re-victimized and blamed for their abuse by psychology?

No. As long as they are respected, it is about getting them the care they need and not giving unneeded drugs. As long as they aren't actually being blamed (like when people say a woman who gets raped was dressing sluttily and so was asking for it) then I think it is fine.
